Cali's Story...
Hi my name is Cali! I have spent the last 5 years of my life with a loving family but unfortunately their young child is severely allergic to me. SDH&H has offered to courtesy post me on their sites in hopes I find a new forever home!

I am great with kids, dogs and cats! I love to play ball and enjoy dog toys. I am as sweet as they come and just love to be by your side! I know basic commands, I'm housebroken, up to date on shots and spayed! I would be a perfect addition to just about any family!

If interested in adopting me, please send two personal references and a vet reference to info@seniordoghaven,org. If you are a qualified applicant, we will be happy to get you in touch with the family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cali, a Wilmington Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
