Little Toby's Story...
COURTESY POST: A little dog with a big heart, Little Toby has never met a stranger and finds a home in every lap. Found on the street during a heavy thunderstorm, Little Toby quickly fell in love with his foster parents and their dogs. He plays nicely with others and though often bursting with energy, he will take the message that others are done playing and settle down for a nap or to chew on his toys. He loves riding in the car and is learning to walk on a leash. Toby is a young dog anywhere from 10 months to 2 years old, weighs 28 pounds, is housebroken and is heartworm free. Toby would make a great pet for someone who is looking for an active, friendly, young dog.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Toby, a Dallas Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
