Lelia's Story...
Leila is a 2 year old sweet loving Mountain Curr mix. 23 lb of love and devotion.
She always gives her heart completely everyday to her foster family. She loves being around family life. Leila will play when in the mood but for the most part this girl is pretty relaxed. Leila enjoys being around her canine friends in her foster home as well as the children. She will try to run if let out without lead, chase squirrels or cats in the outdoors but her foster family is working hard on that. She is housebroken and will tell you when it's potty time, she is crate trained, walks on a leash like an angel. She is being fed grain free food and is wonderfully gentle will all she meets. People flock to leila as something about her says pet me. Please visit our website www.wagginghearts.org to complete an adoption application.

Wagging Hearts is a 100% foster-based, non-profit rescue organization. Our mission is to rescue abandoned, neglected, and stray companion animals. Please visit www.wagginghearts.org if you would like to adopt and provide a forever home to one in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lelia, a Hainesville Mountain Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mountain Cur for sale in Hainesville, or seeking a Mountain Cur dog from a breeder in Hainesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hainesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hainesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mountain Cur breeders who help with Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hainesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
