Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This little 6 month old, 17lb bundle of love and happiness is Peggy. Peggy is uber special and steals hearts where ever she goes. She is a happy, happy girl who likes rides in the car and playing with everyone. She is house and crate trained and leaning to walk on a leash. SHe is loves giving kisses and meeting new friends. Peggy is a special needs pooch, in that she was born with a condition called Ectrodactyly or split hand. She does't have any special needs due to her disability at this time, but her adopter should be aware that there could be problems later on. She gets around extremely well (better than some 4 legged friends I know) and has had several consultations regarding if we should amputate or not. We decided not to, as she uses her stub for balance, playing with toys, eating bones, etc plus it is really adorable! Peggy is being fostered in Birmingham, AL but can be transported for the perfect home. For more information on Peggy please contact us at info@forrescue.net
