Sadie's Story...
My name is Sadie and I am a lab, a puppy lab to be more specific. I am brand spanking new to rescue and am learning what it's all about, but I think, no I'm sure, that I like what I see so far. Let me tell you about my last week. I was left at a shelter in a rural part of Tennessee. Now there's not a single shelter dog in Tennessee that has an easy path ahead of them, but I was in a shelter where people rarely visit. So I am very thankful to have been found by rescue and am very happy to be in a foster home.

Enough about my past - onward and upward for me. I am 12 weeks old and am looking for a home for forever. So if you are looking for a new little labby girl to add to your home, please email Allison at alicat_ant@yahoo.com. My adoption fee is $450 and will include microchip, shots, and transport costs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Greenfield Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Greenfield, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Greenfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greenfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greenfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greenfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
