My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Recon is a very cute and spunky fellow that is looking for a home of his own. His original owner could no longer care for him. Recon is great with cats and does very well with most dogs. He is not a dog that has to have canine companionship, so being in a one dog family would suit him fine. Recon has great house manners and is crate-trained and housebroken. He is very quiet and easy to care for so he would do great in an apartment or townhome. He walks very well on lead and enjoys nice walks. Recon is a happy and outgoing dog and will enjoy making new friends in the neighborhood. He is playful and has a lot of personality. He is sure to make you smile. Recon weighs 20 lbs and may be a bit large for some laps but will jump up in yours if you let him. He loves to be petted and cuddled. Recon is 3 years old. He has been neutered and is up to date on his shots. He is microchipped. Recon has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. To meet Recon, we ask that you first complete our adoption application at www.cedarfarmrescue.com . After you have submitted the form, call 336.251.8877 to make an appointment to visit with Recon at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville. We are there by appointment only and generally set meetings for between the hours of 1 and 4 pm or after 7 pm any day of the week, holidays included. Thank you for considering a rescued dog!
