Meet sweet little Ivy, an adorable young girl looking for a home of her own. We met Ivy at a crowded shelter in Virginia. She was very scared and timid but we could tell there was something very special behind those beautiful soulful eyes. Once out of the shelter she was a new dog – very happy and full of joy! Ivy is super affectionate and very eager to please. She is definitely a cuddle bug! Ivy is very thankful to have a second chance and is sure to give her new human family tons of love. Ivy is fabulous with other dogs and cats and will do beautifully with children. She has a very gentle and calm temperament. She walks beautifully on lead and will be a great companion to have on walks around the neighborhood. She is very quiet and will do well in a townhome or apartment setting. Ivy is crate-trained and housebroken. She is about three years old and weighs 19 lbs. Ivy is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots. She has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
