Freeway's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Freeway's Story...
I have a really unusual name for a female, but you'll know why in a minute! I'm Freeway! I am a 12lb and 2 year old dachshund terrier mix.

I was found as a stray on a very busy FREEWAY near a community called Kingsburg in California. And you can say that the lady who rescued me gave me a FREE WAY to life. Maybe. Anyways - I am a very sweet and loving little dog. I have started chasing my foster siblings around the house and am getting the hang of toys. I may be named for a fast and busy road, but I'm quite the opposite in personality - I'd be described best as low to medium energy.

My adoption fees are $280 and covers my spay, rabies & DHPP vaccines, microchipping, deworming, heart worm testing, vet visits, and my transport to Canada! Please send an email to calicanrescue@gmail.com and let the people at CaliCan Rescue know you are interested in adopting me, or at least wanting more info!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Freeway, a Edmonton Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
