Callie's Story...
A ready made partner for life is what my foster mom calls me. I am a very mellow four year old girl, who loves to be loved on. I am house broke, very quiet , good with other dogs and even the cats! My favorite thing in the world is going for a ride in the truck ! It is something I could do all day long and will expect some rides with my new family. I have gone to local events and behave perfectly wagging my tail , waiting for someone to love on me. All my vet work is done , so hurry and call! I look forward to picking my forever family If you are interested in applying for this dog or in learning more information please paste the following link in your browser: http://www.poochesonthemove.net/sharp.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Callie, a Staunton Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
