My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB August 15, 2012.

Oscar is a handsome tuxedo boy who was rescued from a colony. He had a severely injured back leg that has healed fantastically following several surgeries and rest. The vet has advised that he should not be re-released outside because he will have chronic pain in his leg in the cold weather.

Oscar is currently in TCR foster care and is making better progress than initially anticipated. He does still hide at times but he will eat and use his litter with his foster mom nearby and is growing more social. He is a curious cat who loves running and playing with his toys (especially the laser pointer which he will ask for continuously) and though he isn’t fully social yet he is spreading out in his space and exploring new territory. He has plays and ‘talks’ quite a bit but is still wary of anyone getting too close. Despite his wariness his interaction inspires hope that he will be an affectionate fully social cat given enough time and love.
