My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hina is a sweet, pretty and very affectionate one year old German Shepherd. She is learning about self-control and doing really well given she was raised in the backyard without a lot of guidance for most of her life to date. She wants to be wherever her person is and always wants to please (she loves being told she’s a good girl). She is house trained as well as crate/kennel trained. She loves to play with other dogs, she loves people and she loves to go for long walks and be with her person. If you let her, she loves to climb up into your lap and snuggle with you and if you don’t want her in your lap she lies at your feet. Her recall is really nice and she has some basic obedience. What she lacks in obedience she can learn and quickly as she is very willing to learn. In the first five days with her foster she learned about waiting at door, getting her feet dried to come in by jumping up onto a grooming table and going into her kennel at bedtime. She does these without being told to as she picks up the routine quickly and she wants to please. As part of getting on the grooming table she usually sits and when she’s getting dried you tap her tummy and tell her to stand and she stands.

Hina's adoption donation is $350 to cover care while in rescue. LAMPR is a 501c3 public charity and all monies go to help other dogs in need.

Thank you for considering a rescue!
