My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We pulled Addie from a municipal shelter a few months ago
because she was not doing well being kenneled and had spent her entire
life on a chain. She had little experience with life outside her tiny
circle, and the shelter environment added to Addie's anxiety and stress.
She has been in foster with our friend Jim Barnes in Columbus for
several months and is making great strides. She still gets nervous
when presented with a situation she's not comfortable with, or
familiar with, but with positive encouragement, she settles down
quickly She gets along great with other pets, loves to play
fetch, is very gentle. She is a 3 yr old Lab mix, and would probably
not be the best choice for small children (under 8 years of age).
Addie needs a strong, patient, experienced and dominant handler to
teach her all the
things she didn't learn in her first home, because she was always
tethered and never included as a welcomed member of her family circle.
She is spayed and up-to-date on all veterinary procedures.
