My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

O'Hare is an old Beagle boy that is true to his breed. He is a rabbit chaser that just wants to live his life out chasing a rabbit or two every day and coming back home in short order to lie at your feet or by your side watching a great TV show or two. We think he is about 10 years old and somehow he landed in a KY shelter in terrible condition and no one coming to claim him. Honestly, he didn’t need to go back to the former owners who let him have a horrible set of ear infections, an upper respiratory infection that took over a month to clear up, bad teeth that had to be cleaned and pulled, and not neutered. He was a train wreck until CCR took him in and put all they had in the way of medical care to help this boy smile again and be free from pain. He was actually so weak when we first got him that he could barely stand up. We at Critter Cavalry love the old and discarded Beagles. We wanted to give this boy love and return him back to health. O’Hare is so grateful to us for saving him. He gets along with all dogs but doesn’t play with them. He takes over the couch; the only time he gets up is to eat. He loves to eat. He enjoys lounging on the deck, but what O'Hare really wants to do most in life is chase rabbits. He thinks he still has it in him. His nose works great and so does his spirit. He will need a fenced yard so he can stretch his legs and look for those rabbits. Do you have a rabbit hole that O’Hare can possibly check out every day in your backyard? Got some love and time to give an old Beagle boy whose smile and delightful shining eyes will melt your heart even on the hardest of days in life. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
