Felix is a Chinese Crested dog who was found with his buddy, Oscar the Russian Blue mix cat. Both gentlemen are people oriented and want to be near humans. Children and elders, men and women, these two love them all. Because these animals were found together, they can easily be adopted together - they are good friends and would make an instant family for someone who appreciates both dogs and cats, or, they can be adopted separately if the home fits (please reference Oscar’s profile also on these same posting pages for photos of Oscar).
Felix the dog is about 7 years old and 14 lbs. He is being fostered with four other dogs - large dogs and puppies. He goes to a doggy day care a few days a week and loves burning off some energy there. He is house-trained and walks well on a leash. He loves sleeping with a person at night, but he is also very comfortable in a crate when his people are gone. Up-to-date on all shots, neutered and micro-chipped, this middle-aged man is a social dog who LOVES people. Felix is an indoor dog who knows how to use a dog door.
Oscar the cat is charming and well-mannered and has wonderful house-behavior. Also about 7 years old; he is comfortable with cat savvy dogs and enjoys sleeping with his friend Felix. He is a housecat who has impeccable litter box manners and a healthy appetite. He is about 18 lbs., FIV negative, neutered and up-to-date on all of his shots. Oscar is a social boy who is comfortable being alone during the day, but truly enjoys attention from people and having toys available. He is an indoor cat who would also appreciate time in a yard with a secure wall.
