Meet sweet Kora. She is a love and everyone who meets her loves her. She is a submissive girl so NO electronic fences please. She will melt in your lap, yet roll on her belly when she meets people. She was born around 3/30 and weighs 20-22 pounds as of 9-4-14. Breed is a total guess, but she may have shepherd in her...which king of shepherd we are unsure, but one thing for sure is given her current age and weight she is going to be a medium size dog not large.

Before going into her current foster, Kora was in a temp foster around children and a cat, and she was fine with the cat and was awesome with the kids. Kora came from a very crowded shelter in Joplin, MO with kennel cough and she is now finishing up her medication for that. She is doing fabulous with her house training. Very few accidents in the home and when she does, it's on a piddle pad. She is a very smart girl.

She is great all around puppy. She loves to play and be outside. She absolutely adores the children in the foster home, she is fabulous with other dogs and cats. Kora is being fostered in a home in Montgomery, IL now. Was was in a temp foster prior due to the holiday.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kora, a Naperville Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
