My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Frankie was spotted by residents of a Massachusetts summer community where he wandered, homeless, for at least a month. The brave cat was finally taken in by one of our staff members, where a trip to the vet revealed he had been neutered, making it certain that he was once somebody’s pet. Canvassing the neighborhood mailboxes with flyers came up with nothing, so it is likely he had been dumped. Frankie is now in NYC and looking for a home. He was born around March 2013 and has medium length fur which is super soft. He can still be skittish after his ordeal, but once he knows you he is an affectionate and sweet boy and a good companion. He is undemanding and very happy in the extra bedroom he now occupies. He is not finicky about food and has great litter box manners. He is a bit cautious about other cats, but is fine if they are calm and welcoming. He has never once used his claws or teeth, even when being put in a cat carrier, which he hates. This intrepid, gentle cat would do best in a quiet, loving home where there is not too much commotion. He is a great kitty friend, adored by his foster.
