GEORGE's Story...
Hello! My name is George and I am a 3 yr. old beagle that was found as a stray in June and taken to a shelter in South Carolina. The shelter people took care of me and gave me some good old TLC while I was waiting to find someone to adopt me. Weeks passed and nobody came along, so Penny Angels agreed to rescue me and help me find my new home in New Jersey. I will be arriving at Penny Angels on Sept. 6, so I should be at Petsmart on Saturday afternoon if you want to meet me. I am good with dogs, but not really fond of cats. I like people and look forward to finding my very own special person to love me. I only weigh about 10 lbs., but there sure is a LOT of me to love! If you have room in your home and you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application and contact Penny Angels.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GEORGE, a Ventnor City Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Ventnor City, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Ventnor City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ventnor City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ventnor City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ventnor City paves the way for another one to be saved.
