Lacy's Story...
Lacy is a gorgeous petite tuxedo girl. She had a very rough start in life. She was abandoned on the side of the road, rescued by a family who turned out to be allergic and left in a room by herself without attention. Needless to say, it took a little while for her to open up and come out of her shell. But when she did, goodness did she have a personality! She is quite the firecracker. She tolerates other cats, but doesn't love them. She prefers to have all the attention on herself, all the time. She can be quite fiesty; she will swat if you irritate her. She needs an experienced cat person and a home without kids.

Lacy's adoption fee is $125.00. This includes her Feline Leukemia / Feline Aids Combo test, vaccinations, deworming, rabies vaccination, and her spay surgery as well as a microchip, routine medical care and flea, tick and heart worm prevention.

If you are interested in adopting, please e-mail Kristina at ronbrownjewelry@yahoo.com for additional information, or to request an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacy, a Statesville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Statesville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Statesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Statesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Statesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Statesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
