Rudy's Story...
Meet Rudy. Rudy is a very handsome, very sweet boy. He is a petite golden retriever or very close mix weighing in at 45 pounds but likely has a bit of growing left to do. Rudy is looking for the perfect home which shouldnt be hard to find as Rudy gets along great with other dogs, cats, & everyone he meets. He walks well on a leash and already knows how to sit. Rudy was found as a stray so we are still finding out if he is housebroken or not but that should be quick learning for this good boy. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots and all preventatives. Please, you MUSTpaste following link into your browser BEFORE emailing for further information. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rudy, a Hagerstown Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
