Pluto's Story...
My name is Pluto, I am 1 1/2 year old DSH black cat. I have been neutered and am current on my rabies shot and wellness check. I am a young, playful cat, full of energy and love for that special someone who wants to take me home. I have been declawed. I love to play with my toys, I carry soft cat toys in my mouth like a dog and occasionally play fetch. I love to watch the world go by from the safety of a living room window and snuggle up on the couch. I am gentle with children and seem to get along great with other animals, like small dogs.My foster Mom has a Shih Tzu and we do just fine. I am considered a special needs cat, who needs to be on a special diet for the prevention of urinary crystals for the rest of my life. I promise to be a good cat, and fill your heart and home with love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pluto, a Grand Junction Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Grand Junction, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Grand Junction.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Junction already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Junction breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Junction paves the way for another one to be saved.
