My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bijou is part of a pair of litter mates (Remy and Bijou) Both are both Male Bichons Age 5. Both are approx 10-12 lbs and up to date on shots. We are trying to find them a home together but will separate them if we can't find a home for both together soon. So EITHER is available as a single adoption as well.

Here is their story...

They were litter mates born on 12/8/08 and then separated to live with two different family members
Remy went to the lady that has them now...and Bijou stayed with her Aunt who was the breeder.
The Aunt has recently passed away and the lady who has them now took in Bijou 3 months ago.
In the mean time, this lady re married and her husband came into the home with his Bulldog puppy and now the Bulldog (who is 85 lbs) is playing too rough with the Bichons and... to keep the peace and her new husband... She is going to re home both her Bichon (Remy) and her Aunts Bichon (Bijou)

They are starting to bond and love to cuddle with each other.. so we would like to keep them together if possible.... If not we want to find a home for each that has another small dog in it as they don't like to be all alone. Both are males ... so whomever adopts them would need to help them with some basic reminders of training in your home as it is a new environment. Remy is neutered but Bijou is not (our Rescue will take care of getting that done paid for by us)

The Ideal home for Bijou is with either another dog that he can bond with and be with all the time or if not, with a retired person who will not leave him home alone often. He does not like being alone.

Remy would be good for most any home. He is fine with older kids but we would not like to place him with very young kids as being in a new situation is scary enough without a toddler grabbing at him.

If you are interested in adopting Bijou and Remy or either one of them, please fill out an application at http://www.bichonrescuenj.com/bichon-frise-rescue-nnj-adoption-app.html
