Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rudy is an 11 week old male puppy. His mom came from a puppy mill and he was born after she escaped. Rudy is a mix but we don't know who his father is. His mother is Alia, the Schnauzer. He is not yet house trained but his foster mom has been working on that now, nor is he neutered. A refundable neuter deposit will be required. Rudy has had 2 of the required 3 distemper vaccines, he has been de-wormed. He will need his rabies and bordetella after 12 weeks. Rudy's owner must be willing to take him through a basic dog obedience class and provide proof of completion within four months of the adoption. Proof of enrollment in a dog obedience is required before/at the adoption. If you would like to be considered to adopt Rudy, you must first apply. Then please contact puppypatrol@schnauzerrescue.net. Rescue Schnauzers usually weigh between 15-25 pounds, they are up to date on shots, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered prior to placement. We make reasonable efforts to evaluate the health and temperament of each dog, however we cannot make any guarantees. We are not a shelter and do not have a central facility. All dogs are kept in foster homes located throughout the area we cover. PLEASE NOTE: We rescue schnauzers in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC and southern Pennsylvania. We can only accept applications within a reasonable driving distance of our areas of coverage. Please read the list at the top of the on-line application to see if you are in our area.
