Travis's Story...
Hello there! I'm a young, handsome boy with a lot of love to give. Do you need someone to talk to at the end of a long day? Well, I'm very attentive, and will totally be there for you! I really enjoy being around people, especially if there is an ear scratch involved. For most of my life, I was an outdoor dog. But, I could most definitely get used to being in the house with you. I'm very playful and would love an owner who will play and run with me. Currently, I am getting use to the leash. No worries, I am very smart and pick up on things quickly with a little encouragement and training. If you have other dogs at home, please bring them to meet me so we can make sure we will be good friends. Come fall in love with me today! I am sure to make a great addition to your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Travis, a Harrisonburg Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
