My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Whiskey Rye aka Rye. A 10 month old, 21 lb, red brindle Boston male
with a "wee little tail."

This petrified but sweet boy's face just spoke to us when our rural shelter
posted him online. We spoke to the shelter and here his is.

Rye had a very busy "get out of jail" day yesterday. First a long car ride with
4 others heading to safety, a trip to the vet for a health check and rabies,
some pics and love time at the vet then a trip for margaritas and chips before
heading back to RBF headquarters aka Beth and Fred's.

There he met Faye, the matriarch of the house, a 28 lb Boston puppy mill
survivor and passed her approval. Then onto play time with the resident Little
Red Devil, 7 lb Sophia the rescue Ewok. We can say good with other dogs, at
least those his size and smaller, which is all he has met so far.

Still a bit shell shocked and somewhat shy but he seeks love and attention. More
shy with men? Foster mom will be working on the leash skills and since he was
just neutered we will be using a belly bad inside, it takes 60 days for
testosterone to dissipate.

So far so good for this sweet young boy. We will know more in the coming week.

We are seeking an experienced dog owner, preferably one with Boston or terrier
experience. No young children and someone willing to show him that the world is
his oyster.

Is that you? If so please email Bethcs4040@gmail.com for an application. His
$450 fee includes neuter, microchip, rabies, worm meds, monthly HW/Flea, HW
test, transport north and his foster care needs. Two personal non relative
references are also required if you complete an online app.
