My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jake Griffey is a Boston terrier mix about 32 pounds, 4-5 years old. He was made to play fetch! He will play fetch for hours on end or until you are too tired to play anymore. He will chase and bring back anything you throw for him. He loves to chew his bones or sticks from the yard but will not touch anything that is not his. His toys are another matter... No stuffed toys for this little guy!

Jake is very affectionate, loves to snuggle in your lap and sleep under your covers. If you let him, he will take over your pillow when you are not watching. Jake's foster mom says he's the easiest dog she's ever fostered!

Jake has had some run-ins with other dogs, so he would like to be the only animal in the house and is very protective of his family. We think he would do best in a home with older children or just adults who can play with him. Jake needs an adopter who is experienced with dogs.

Jake is house trained and crate-trained, neutered, microchipped, has had all vaccines updated and is heartworm negative. To learn more about Jake, call his foster mom, Vicki, at 912-227-2290.
