Buttercup's Story...
Buttercup is as sweet and playful as a cat can be!! She is fostered in a home with dogs and a bunch of other cats, and she gets along great with everyone. She also lives with younger children and absolutely loves getting attention from them. She a kitty who is front and center, always seeking attention and in the middle of all the action. She loves to play and act like an acrobat when chasing a kitty wand. She purrs immediately when she gets petted. She loves to be held and will sit for long periods of time. She is really a great cat with lots of personality and would make an awesome companion for anyone. Buttercup is around 4 pounds and 4 months old....still very much a kitten! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buttercup, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
