Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rudy - who has the coolest ear locks ever, an adorable cocker face and the sweetest disposition. If you have a soft spot in your lap (and heart) for a little bundle of caramel-colored fur, then consider meeting this boy. He's a thin 23-pound cocker spaniel who we rescued from Chicago Animal Control after he was picked up as a stray. Our vet estimates his age to be 2 years. When we met him, he was groomed and clean, so we suspect he was properly cared for prior to finding himself in lockup.
Rudy is housetrained and gets along fine with the two other dogs he's currently living with. He is a terrific jogging partner (around 2 miles) and loves to play catch with his balls and stuffed toys. And although you can't really see it that well in his photos, he has the coolest blond highlights on his ears - some women would pay $$$ to get this unique look :)
So if you are in search of a devoted, responsive, smart, affectionate, handsome, mid-sized companion, Rudy just might be your guy.
Rudy's adoption fee is $300 and includes: vet exam, heartworm test (neg.), distemper vaccination, bordetella and rabies vaccinations, fecal test, deworming, flea control, heartworm prevention, microchip and neuter.
