Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Roquefort, a 9 week old puppy who we were told is a German Shepherd/hound dog mix. Along with his assorted 7 brothers and sisters, he has just arrived at Adopt A Pet. His first foster home had this to say: "Rocky is big and handsome, weighing in at just over 10 pounds. He is also very calm, and a real smuggler. Oh, he really loves to eat so most likely will grow up to be a big boy!"
Like all young puppies, Roquefort needs a family where someone is home part or all day, who will commit to house-training and then obedience training. If you have the time to invest, this guy won't disappoint!
You can meet Roquefort at Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750). Although you may want to adopt him on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the application process first.
Roquefort's adoption fee of $350 includes: vet exam, distemper combo and bordetella vaccinations, deworming, flea and tick preventative, microchip and neuter.
