My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mora is a typical kitten who is full of energy, who just loves to run and play. She is crazy for “feathers on a stick”, and can play endlessly with anyone who dangles it in front of her! She is also a great jumper, who will hop around the living room without ever touching the floor :)! And for reasons unknown, she LOVES jumping into empty bathtub. Needless to say, she has no problem greeting new people. Once she is done being silly, she loves to sit on the widow shelf and look out at the world. Or, if it’s nap time, and she is too tired to find her sister to cuddle with, she has no problem taking a nap right in the middle of the floor :)!

Mora and her sister were born in a foster home on April 29, 2014. Their foster Mom found their pregnant mom all alone, and brought her in to give her some much deserved love and attention. In fact, she fell in love with their mom and welcomed her into her home forever! The two girls LOVE to play with one another, including having a good wrestle once in a while! And after they tire each other out, they will settle in and cuddle up together to take a nap. But, at night, Mora prefers to sleep by herself :)!

Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a playful cat. Mora would LOVE to be adopted with her sister since she already knows her so well…and then they can play, and snuggle while you're not home. Check out our PICK A PAIR page to see if she is still available, or if she isn't, you can pick your own pair! If there is already another playful kitten in the house, she would love that too.

You can meet Mora at Wilmette Pet, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750 www.wilmettepetcenter.com). Although you may want to adopt her on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the application process first.

Mora’s adoption fee of $135 includes: vet exam, feline leukemia/FIV test (neg), FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, routine deworming, flea preventative, microchip and spay.
