Twinkle's Story...
Twinkle twinkle little star what a beauty you are! This striking orange and black tortoiseshell was found as an abandoned very pregnant stray in a Danville trailer park. Luckily for Twinkle, one of our foster moms took her inside just in the nick of time. Within a day Twinkle gave birth to a litter of 7! We have no idea where they were all fitting in her skinny frame. Twinkle’s kittens are all weaned and now Twinkle is spayed and ready for adoption. She is probably about 1-2 years old. She is a very social and outgoing cat. She greets all the visitors and likes attention. Her large eyes, pretty coat and long, lanky body makes her look like an exotic breed. Twinkle loves meal time and can put down a lot of food probably making up for her starving time as a pregnant mom. Twinkle is FeLV/FIV negative, up to date on shots, dewormed, litter trained and spayed. If you are interested in adopting Twinkle please contact Michelle at 570-759-0920.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Twinkle, a Bloomsburg Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
