Ricki Stardust's Story...
Ricki has a gentle, quiet way that wins everybody over. Her pink ears, nose, and touch of pink on her lips is very feminine! When she plays with her sisters, she forgets those feminine ways and can rough house with the best. She loves other cats and is fostered in a household with dogs of all sizes - from tiny to huge. She also has a two year old little girl as a friend so she's learned patience with small humans ;). Ricki is Felv/Fiv negative, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and examined by a vet. She is located in Huntsville. AL and if you'd like to meet her, please email info@FORrescue.net. Thanks!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ricki Stardust, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
