My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dixie is a med sized, one to two year old hound mix. Possibly some red bone or Vizla , but she is stockier than some hounds. She is a very happyt, well adjusted and sociable dog. she was picked to be put in the adoption room very quickly because of her great personality and obvious prior training. Since these guys live in small spaces, that makes it easy to crate train them if they are not already housebroken. They have to go into crates on command for cleaning. Please go see this cutie .. Take him a chewie, he doesn't get out much to exercise and he as well as the other dogs are thrilled to see grass. So give them a chance toenjoy the outdoors . It is a welcome site from being cooped up inside all day. The shelter address: 650 John Howell Memorial Drive in Lincolnton. 704 736 4125. Open 6 days a week; M-Sat 11 to 4:30 and Closed Sunday. Adoption fee of 85.00 includes the spay or neuter , another disease preventative vaccine ,a rabies vaccine, microchip and 30 days of free pet health insurance, as well as worming. It is a great deal! For more info, contact "tritobin@charter.net" Thank you for considering a homeless shelter dog. Dixie will be euthanized if not adopted by March 9 at 5:00 p.m. It is urgent she be adopted.
