Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Eeyore, a very friendly and calm fellow that loves everybody and everything. He is one of the nicest, sweetest and most obedient dogs we have ever known. He is almost a year old and plays wonderfully with all of our dogs. He is good with our cats and is very gentle with children. Eeyore is a lanky fellow. He is tall and weighs only 40 lbs. right now. He will fill out and should gain a bit more weight but will probably not weigh over 50 lbs. when full grown. Eeyore has fabulous house manners. He is crate-trained and housebroken. He is very easy to care for and is a “go-with-the-flow” kind of guy. Nothing seems to overwhelm or bother him. He is truly a super dog with a terrific personality. Eeyore has even made a visit to the Golden Strip Career Center in Greenville, SC as a representative of the shelter to encourage students to foster dogs from the shelter as an option to fulfill their community service requirement for graduation. Eeyore was such a hit that numerous kids had their families sign up on the first day! The students could not believe that such a wonderful dog had ended up at an overcrowded kill shelter. The awareness, although a sad reality, has spurned these terrific children to action and we look forward to working as a team to save many other dogs like Eeyore. Eeyore has been neutered and microchipped and is up to date on his shots. He is heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. If your family would like to meet Eeyore please complete our adoption application form at www.cedarfarmrescue.com then call 336.251.8877 to set up a time to visit. We can typically meet families at our adoption center between 1pm and 4 pm or after 7 pm any day of the week, holidays included, but you must call first to set up an appointment time. Please call 336.251.8877 with any questions about Eeyore or our adoption process. 62580
