Mabel's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mabel's Story...
Mabel is Looking for a New Home! Mabel is a lovely 1.5 year old Lab x, who first came to CAARE about 2.5 months ago. She is a sweet gal, and gets along very well with other dogs (as you can see in her pictures with her canine brother!)
Very affectionate with her family and friends, we have found that Mabel is fearful of certain men (strangers), particularly if they reach out to her suddenly. Her current (very urban) environment is proving not to be ideal for her. Therefore, we are looking for a Foster and Adopter for this beautiful girl.
Ideally, a home in a suburb or rural area would be best. She coexists very well with other large dogs, but would also LOVE to be the only canine in the home...as she would get all the attention for herself after all!
Mabel knows basic commands and loves doing doggy challenges (sniff and search games etc). She'll make a great companion for an active family that has the time to spend with her. Please email us at caarerescue@gmail.com for more information on Mabel!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mabel, a Vancouver Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
