My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a “sweet-as-pie” canine companion? Sweet Adeline is your girl! She was picked up as a stray by Animal Control who called out for help and AaRoooo!! answered - she had a “mammory tumor” which needed attention they could not provide. After our vet consultation it was determined that the tumor should be removed for Addie’s best quality of life. Thankfully it was discovered that Addie did not have a tumor but a severe hernia which was repaired. She has recovered from the surgery very nicely and is now ready for a new furever home. As most strays we see, she is a very shy little girl who needs an understanding new home to assist her in learning that everything will be good from now on. Addie is a very sweet, loving girl. She is a little nervous of new things at first and unexpected noises can still be scary to her. She is tolerant but shy with other dogs initially then playful and happy once she gets to know them. Addie is being fostered in Northern Illinois. For an adoption application visit our website, www.aaroooo.org
