My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Porter came to us three weeks ago as a tired, listless starving puppy that was on his last days. His coat was dull and spotty. Weak and unloved, he could only play for a few minutes without lying down. From day one, he was fearless and "talked" up a storm! Baroooo was his answer to everything! Hungry? Barooo! Wanna play? Baroooo! Need to go out? Baroooo! There's definitely some hound in the mix along with good natured Lab! We now can tell that he has different barks and baroooos for different things and wants to communicate with us! Porter is now about 14 weeks old and a glossy 22 pounds of black fur! With super high energy and phenomenal stamina, he can run and play for hours on end! He needs another dog or solid exercise several times per day to keep him in shape and keep his energy in check. Porter is outgoing and friendly and would make a great running or outdoor enthusiast companion! He has already enjoyed swimming with us in the pool and knows how to exit via the stairs. He's a smart little guy! Porter loves to play with people and his foster sisters and adores children of all ages! He's working on his leash walking and is already doing a great job! Porter is a love bug and will fall asleep by your side on the couch or maybe even in your arms. But be ready for more play when he wakes up! Let's go for a run, fling my Frisbee, throw the ball, take me for a swim and where's my tug!? ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
