Do you want to fall in love to the MAX?? It is easy to do with me! My name is MAX!! My foster family can hardly believe that an awesome dog like me ended up in a high kill shelter in Southern Indiana. Sadly, it is true. My charming personality won the attention of the shelter workers and before I knew it I was making my way north with Rover Rescue. I am so relieved to be in a safe, warm and loving home, but I am really hoping to have a family to call my own soon! I am told that I am a very handsome boy. I am a 1 year old Shepherd/ Shar Pei mix with the cutest ears! I am a great size, weighing in at 45 pounds. Not only do I have the looks, but I have a great temperament to match. My foster family thinks I am the best dog they have ever had, and believe me they have had a lot! They just can’t say enough good things about me. They call me a total lovebug. I win the hearts of all who meet me. I adore people, young and old. I would make an ideal pet for a first time dog owner. However, I am living with other canines and love having playmates. For the most part, I am a pretty laid back guy. I have the best manners and it is obvious that I have had training. I am housebroken and crate trained. I walk very well on a leash and I adore car rides. The name MAX means “the greatest” in Latin. I live up to my name with ease!
