Max's Story...
This handsome guy is Max, a 10 month old male Labrador mix. Max loves to play and explore. He is housebroken, knows a bit of basic obedience and is good with other dogs. Max has been around children of all all ages and loves them all. Max is crate trained but needs some work on the leash. Max loves to play with his toys and chew on bones. Max is a higher energy dog who would do best in a home with a fenced in yard and someone who is looking for a work out buddy. If you are looking for a sweet and energetic friend, Max may just be the guy for you! There are a lot of us here at the shelter looking for new homes. If I don't match what you are looking for, just check out my roommates - there must be one of us that is what you are looking for.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Tiffin Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Tiffin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Tiffin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tiffin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tiffin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tiffin paves the way for another one to be saved.
