Hi there! My name is Huey. I am about 1 year old and I currently weigh 57 lbs.
I was found as a stray on a very busy main road and was brought in to the pound. My owners didn't claim me so I am now available for adoption.
I am a great boy! I am young and energetic, so a home where I can get plenty of exercise would be a must!
I am in a foster home right now. I LOVE the children (ages 1 & 3). I am very gentle and sweet with them. I also get along great with the dog in my foster home! We're buddies and we like to play.
I seem to be housebroken. I haven't had any accidents so far and I am good in the house.
I like to lay in my crate but I don't get locked in it. When foster mom leaves, I stay in the garage, otherwise I am outside with them or inside the house when they are.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
