Facts about Kodiak

  • Color: Black (Mostly)
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Medium
Meet Kodiak, or he as likes to be called for short, Kodi. Kodi was found by a Franklin Family Pride Volunteer. The volunteer pulled him out of a garbage dumpster behind a local grocery store. Kodi, another kitten, and 2 young females were all literally “thrown away”. The volunteer witnessed this horrific act and tried to get a license plate number but it was late and too dark. The volunteer then went dumpster diving and saved 4 lives. Kodi was named Kodiak, because he looks like a little bear, fuzzy, medium length hair, rich in browns, rust and black colored bear. Birthday is approx 10/18/14, Kodi is almost 2 years old and is approx 15lbs. He has all of his age appropriate vaccines and has been neutered He tested negative for FIV & FeLeuk. Kodi has a great personality, playful and a purring machine. He also has the longest whiskers and the sweetest, meow. This fuzzy little bear needs to be settled into his forever den before winter approaches. Food, cozy bed and lots of human snuggles will get him through a life time of winters. Kodi needs a low stress home. Laid back and relaxed. Please contact us now for more information or if you would like to meet and adopt Kodiak. Please email us franklinfamilypride@live.com

About Franklin Family Pride

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small organization that specializes in Feral Cat TNR & Rescue Efforts Outreach. We are an All Volunteer Organization. We are not a physical Rescue/Sanctuary. Our location does not house adoptable pets. All Adoptable Pets are in approved temporary foster homes, waiting for you and their forever home.

• Partnering with Lee county to implement the safe and healthy TNR program
• Establish and organize continuing care of registered feral cat colonies
• Coordinating rescue efforts, no-kill options, adoption events, and recruiting foster homes for adoptable cats
• Purposefully bettering the lives of our feline community through communication, networking, coordinating, and action

Our Adoption Process...

There is no fee for the application. We do require an adoption fee at the completion of the adoption contract. We also will coordinate, at your convenience, a home visit. The paper work is simple and basic. No surprises. Email us for more information.
