Here's what the humans have to say about me:
He is not a cartoon character, but he is a character! Mr. Augie is a force of nature…translate terrier.
If you know, love, and understand the terrier breed, then this is your boy. If terriers had their way, they would run the country. Augie has never been socialized and needs a person who will take the time to re-program his feisty little brain. If you enjoy a challenge, this is your dog. At this point in time, he does not work well in groups of small dogs, but one-on-one he can be a charmer (as terriers can be when they want to be). He also seems to respond more positively to bigger dogs. Until he is trained, dog parks and other venues where small dogs congregate in groups should be avoided. He will do best in a home where children are 12 years of age or older. He really enjoys human companionship, and is a fun little fellow. Augie wants to meet you if you are up to the challenge.
