Sassy's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with cats.

Sassy's Story...
Sassy is a young adult female who is probably around 1.5 to 2 years old. According to her foster, she does great with children and plays well with puppies. She is still learning how to behave with adult dogs. Our foster seems to think this is because she is really a puppy in a grown body. She wants to be loved and loves to play outside.

She would benefit from a family with kids who would enjoy playing with her and help her get her energy out. She is smart and eager to learn, but she will need patience as she transitions to a new home with new commands. She is crate trained and had never messed in her crate.

Sassy loves people and wants to be around her person. She can jump fences however and would do best as an inside dog or would need an underground fence system.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sassy, a Eden Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Eden, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Eden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eden paves the way for another one to be saved.
