My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lilly's adoption fee is $350.

Lilly is a female Papillon, black and white, 6.6kg. and approximately 5 years old. She’s spayed, up to date on vaccines and micro chipped.

Being in a new place was really scary for Lilly. Although we don’t know a lot about her past, we were told that she was a bit of a drama queen. Initially, any time someone even walked past her she would scream and roll onto her back in submission. She was particularly frightened about having a collar and leash put on – she would scream, try to nip and then zone out in fear. She does love her walks, and her foster mom has worked to teach her that putting the collar and leash on are necessary before enjoying a walk. Lilly loves to sniff and explore on her walks. She will let her foster family know when she needs out – if let out regularly she is house trained, though will pee in submissive fear with new situations (happened mostly during the first few weeks in her foster home).

Lilly needs a calm, adult home (no young children), and would be happiest as an only pet. She is very affectionate – loves to be on your lap or to have her tummy rubbed. She is a sweet, happy dog with lots of love to give to someone with the time and patience to help her with her fears and transition to their home.
