Lilah's Story...
Precious little Lilah was found in the middle of a dirt road in Buckhorn with her brother Logan both blinded by severe eye infections. It would have only been a matter of time before they met an untimely death at the tender age of 4 weeks by either a car or by blindness. Lucky for them ARC volunteer Leslie came to their rescue and got them immediate medical attention and supplemental syringe feeding. Born in July 2014 Lilah is a black and white tuxedo female with a cute little pink knows who is loving and curious. She’s a social and affectionate girl who loves nothing more than to crawl up on your neck and snuggle and purr. She’s also playful and loves to run and jump after toys. Lilah is is FeLV/FIV negative, up to date on shots, dewormed, litter trained and spaying will be covered. If you are interested in adopting Lilah please contact Michelle at 570-759-0920.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilah, a Bloomsburg Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
