Nera is a sweet lab/American staffie mix who is one year and 9 months who weighs 56 lbs. Sadly Nera’s Mom is facing a situation where she may have to surrender Nera. Nera likes cats and dogs and every human she’s ever met! She is particularly gentle with children. She is a good watch dog but not an incessant barker. She is such a smart cookie. She knows sit, down, shake, high-five, roll over and hug! She likes playing catch and swimming (of course, she’s part lab). She hikes well off the leash and is very obedient about coming when called. Nera is a lap dog and a cuddler and likes to snuggle down and watch TV with her people. She has very definite opinions about TV and if you are watching something she doesn’t like she will let you know to turn the channel. She loves her toys and will eat tennis balls if given the chance. She is submissive and happily accepts direction. She has a great appetite and her tail is wagging from sun up to sun down. Nera needs a home soon and her heartbroken mom is anxiously trying to find her the best one she can.
