My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Samson. Samson is a happy 10 year old fellow who still loves to go on walks, play the occasional game of ball and be with his people. Having come from a difficult life, Samson is breaking down those walls to become an affectionate guy. He is fine with other dogs, but unsure about cats in his life. We believe his sight and hearing have deteriorated and so he responds best to visual cues if he is looking at you. He can get startled as a result of his hearing and so he is best around calmer children. Samson is house trained, good on leash and knows other basic commands.

To find out how to adopt this wonderful Lab or opportunities on how you can foster a Lowcountry Lab Rescue dog, please visit our web site lowcountrylabrescue.org.

Please note: Lowcountry Lab Rescue is an all-volunteer organization that exists as a network of fosters.  As such we do not own or operate a shelter nor can we ship or deliver dogs out of state. An adoption application must be filled out before Lowcountry Lab Rescue can adopt or foster our dogs. As an all-volunteer it may be a day or two before we can respond to your application, but we do appreciate your interest in helping homeless Labs and hope we can help you find your future best friend!
