My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Luke, some would call him a Harrier hound or even as my walker folks say, a
July hound (small hound/tall beagle). We call him a survivor. Left at about 5
weeks old starving, full of parasites and with one dead sibling and another that
sadly did not make it even after the heroic efforts of the shelter where they
ended up. The 4 were left in a box, in the heat, at the end of a rural lane
near a mailbox. Thankful the homeowner saw them at all. Luke and surviving
sister Leia (that's Princess Leia to you) are now happy, healthy and ready for
forever homes. Around 10 lbs now.

Foster pupdate: Meet Luke! This 12 week old beagle/hound mix is a bundle of
long legs, big feet and floppy ears. Luke is always playful and ready for any
new adventure indoors or outside. He has been a very intelligent training
student and will do anything for a treat. Learning SIT, STAY and COME has been a
breeze for this pup. He has been doing great with potty training. Luke has
learned his foster families routine and NEVER forgets when breakfast and dinner
is served.
Luke has never met a stranger, human, child or dog! His favorite thing to do
is running around the house and the yard playing chase with him foster siblings.
He is kennel trained and sleeps through the night. This special pup is looking
for his forever home!
