Fillmore's Story...
Fillmore is an adorable Basset mix puppy who is just the young age of 8 weeks old. This cutie loves to play with his brothers as much as he can. He is working very hard on his potty training as well as sleeping in a crate at night time. Fillmore loves to romp around his foster family's back yard and enjoy the summer sun. He cannot wait for his human brothers and sister to come home from school so he can play till dusk outside.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fillmore, a Hainesville Basset Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Hainesville, or seeking a Basset Hound puppy from a breeder in Hainesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hainesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hainesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hainesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
