Jenna's Story...
Hi- I'm little kitten Jenna! I was living in a large feral cat colony that was in danger of being hurt by people in the area who didn't want us around. Thankfully, A4A was working to save us and my siblings and I were so young that we were able to be socialized. Now we are very friendly and loving! We love to do all the things kittens do- snuggle, play, eat, relax...we are happy, healthy little ones. Just as soon as we are big enough we will be spayed/neutered. We're each hoping to find loving, forever homes to call our own soon. Are you ready to adopt me?

I am approx. 6 wks old as of mid-Sept. 2014.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jenna, a Xenia Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Xenia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Xenia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Xenia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Xenia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Xenia paves the way for another one to be saved.
