This adorable little guy is Fluffy, a maltese mix that is a little over 2 years old. Fluffy came to us from our Newark facility in search of a great home of his own. Fluffy had a home, but his owner turned him in when he began having itchy skin. We ran some tests on Fluffy's skin, and he didn't have anything major wrong with it. What he did have though, was a fractured hip. We took little Fluffy straight for surgery to repair the hip and he pulled through like a little trooper. Fluffy spent several weeks recuperating in our medical department and getting pampered by our staff there, and he also made several friends with other canine patients. Fluffy seems to get along fine with most dogs and he just loves people. He has so much spunk and energy that you'd never know he had anything wrong with him. He is playful and funloving, and just wants to run like a little puppy. Fluffy is very outgoing and friendly, and he is just loving life these days. He is all healed up and he is ready to start life over again with a family that will love and care for him always, and never let any harm come to him again. File#23744 7/25/14
